This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for merchants to configure the plugin before using it on their e-commerce site. It covers country selection, terms acceptance, account setup, shipping services, and more.
Selecteer Verzendland
Choose the country from which your packages will be shipped. This is the first step in configuring the plugin.
Select the appropriate country from the list provided. This will determine the available shipping options and services. Once selected, click 'Continue' to proceed to the next configuration step.
Accepteer Voorwaarden & Condities
Read and accept the UPS terms and conditions and the plugin usage agreement to proceed.
Carefully review the terms and conditions presented. Acceptance is mandatory to continue with the setup process. Click 'Continue' after agreeing to the terms to move to the next step.
Configureer UPS Account
Set up your UPS account details to enable shipping services. This step involves entering personal information and selecting the appropriate account status.
If you have an existing UPS account, ensure the registered pickup address matches exactly, including postal code format. Choose from three options: having a recent invoice, having an account without a recent invoice, or needing a new account. Incorrect information can lead to configuration errors. UPS Account with Recent Invoice
Select this option if you have a UPS account with invoices in the last 90 days.
Provide the necessary account details and ensure all information is accurate to avoid configuration issues.
UPS Account Without Recent Invoice
Choose this if you have a UPS account but no recent invoices.
Enter your account number and other required details. Ensure accuracy to prevent errors.
No UPS Account
Select this option if you need to create a new UPS account.
Follow the prompts to set up a new account through the plugin. Ensure all information is correct.
Selecteer Verzenddiensten
Choose the shipping services suitable for your area and customers. Options are loaded based on your selected country.
Review the list of available shipping services and select those that best fit your needs. Note that Saturday Delivery is only available in Europe. Ensure your selections are appropriate for your delivery and pickup locations.
Deliver to UPS Access Point™
Select this option for deliveries to a UPS Access Point.
This option allows customers to pick up their packages at a designated UPS location.
Deliver to Consignee Address
Choose this option for direct deliveries to the customer's address.
Ensure the delivery address is correct and eligible for the selected services.
Configureer Betaling bij Aflevering (COD)
Set up the COD option if your Magento site supports it. This step involves checking the status and activating the COD module if needed.
The plugin will detect if the COD module is installed. If you wish to use COD, ensure the module is active. To disable COD, deactivate the module. The plugin will update automatically.

Decide how package rates are calculated based on order size and product dimensions. Choose between Basic and Advanced options.
For Basic, define default package sizes based on item count. For Advanced, enter product weights and dimensions in your shop settings. Ensure backup rates are set to handle errors. Use kilograms and centimeters for weight and size entries.

Define delivery rates for e-shoppers. Choose between flat rates and real-time shipping rates.
