UPS Live Rates for Shopify

Enable Real-Time UPS Rates on Shopify
This guide is for Shopify Plus, Advanced, or Growth Plan merchants who want to display real-time UPS shipping rates at checkout. It covers the installation and configuration of the UPS Live Rates app to connect your Shopify store with your UPS account.
Install the UPS Live Rates App
Sign in to your UPS Shipping Dashboard at ups.dashboardlink.com. Navigate to the Stores section, scroll to find Shopify, and click Connect. Ensure you're logged into the correct Shopify store, then click Install to add the app. Accept the OAuth dialog to authorize the connection.

Click Connect My UPS Account in the app, which will redirect you to UPS. Log in with your UPS.com username and password. Enter your UPS Account Number when prompted. To display your negotiated rates, check the Use Negotiated Rates option.

Configure Shipping Zones and Services in Shopify
In your Shopify admin, navigate to Settings › Shipping and Delivery. Select the shipping profile or zone you want to edit and click Add Rate. Choose Use Carrier App to Calculate Rates and select UPS Live Rates Carrier from the list. Choose the UPS services you want to offer, such as Ground, 2nd Day Air, or International. Click Done, then Save the shipping profile.
Test Your Setup at Checkout
Open your online store in a browser, add a product to the cart, and proceed to checkout. Enter your shipping address to see if UPS services and rates are automatically loaded in the checkout section.
Review Tips & Support
Make sure product weights and dimensions are defined in Shopify for accurate rate calculations. Check that your shipping zones cover the countries/regions where you want UPS services to appear. If you encounter issues, confirm you’re on an eligible Shopify plan and your UPS account credentials are correct.
