Install Core Plugin

Before proceeding with the Spring GDS PUDO Plugin installation, verify that the core plugin is properly installed and connected to your PrestaShelf dashboard. Upload the Spring PUDO Plugin

Access the Modules section in your PrestaShelf dashboard and proceed to the Module Manager. Use the upload function to add the Spring PUDO plugin. Ensure the file format and version are compatible with your PrestaShelf setup to avoid installation errors.

Navigate to Module Manager

In the PrestaShelf dashboard, locate the Modules section and click on Module Manager to manage and upload new plugins.

Upload Plugin

Click on the upload button within the Module Manager and select the Spring PUDO plugin file from your computer. Ensure the file is not corrupted and matches the required format.

Configure the Plugin

After uploading the plugin, click on the Configure button to access the settings. Enter your Spring GDS API key to authenticate the plugin. Click the Connect button to establish a connection. Ensure the API key is correct to avoid connection issues.

Enable Shipping Service

Navigate to the Shipping Carrier section of your PrestaShelf dashboard. Enable the Spring GDS PUDO collect service to allow customers to select this option during checkout. Configure any additional service settings as needed to tailor the shipping options to your business requirements.

Test the Service

Visit your website and add a product to the cart. Proceed to checkout and enter a valid shipping address to test the PUDO service functionality. This step ensures the plugin is working correctly and integrates well with your checkout process.

Select PUDO Address

During checkout, select the Spring Collect service. The system will automatically choose the nearest PUDO address based on the entered shipping address. You can manually change the address if needed before placing the order. This step ensures customers have flexibility in choosing their pickup location.

Verify Order in OMS

After placing the order, check the thank you page to confirm the selected PUDO address. Wait a few minutes for the order to appear in your Order Management System (OMS) marked as a PUDO order. This verification step ensures the order is processed correctly and the PUDO service is functioning as expected.

Create Shipping Label

In the label creation view, verify that the PUDO location is correctly displayed. The Spring Collect service should be automatically selected. Proceed to create the shipment and download the shipping label. This step ensures the shipping label contains accurate information for the PUDO service.

Finalize Shipment

Review the shipping label to ensure the address is correct. Complete the shipment process by confirming all details are accurate and ready for dispatch. This final step ensures that the shipment is correctly prepared for delivery to the PUDO location.
