Step-by-Step Guide

1

Ensure Core Plugin Installation

Verify that the core plugin is installed and connected to your dashboard. This is a prerequisite for installing the Spring GDS PUDO plugin.

The core plugin must be installed and properly connected to your PrestaShelf dashboard to ensure that the Spring GDS PUDO plugin can function correctly. Without this, the PUDO plugin will not be able to integrate with your system. Check the plugin settings and confirm the connection status before proceeding.

2

Upload Spring GDS PUDO Plugin

Navigate to the Modules section in PrestaShelf and upload the Spring GDS PUDO plugin. This step adds the plugin to your PrestaShelf system.

Go to the Modules, Module Manager section within PrestaShelf. Here, you can upload the Spring GDS PUDO plugin file. Ensure that the file is compatible with your PrestaShelf version to avoid any upload issues. Once uploaded, the plugin should appear in your list of modules.

3

Configure Spring GDS Plugin

After uploading, configure the Spring GDS plugin by entering your API key and connecting it.

Once the plugin is uploaded, click on 'Configure' to access the settings. Enter your Spring GDS API key in the provided field and click the 'Connect' button. This will link the plugin to your Spring GDS account, enabling it to access necessary data and services.

4

Enable and Configure PUDO Service

Enable the Spring GDS PUDO collect service in the Shipping Carrier section and configure its settings.

Navigate to the Shipping Carrier section where you will find the Spring GDS PUDO collect service listed. By default, it may be disabled. Enable the service and configure any necessary settings to tailor it to your shipping needs. This step is crucial for activating the PUDO functionality in your store.

5

Test PUDO Service on Website

Test the newly configured PUDO service by placing an order on your website.

Add a product to your cart and proceed to checkout. During the checkout process, add an address and select the Spring Collect service. Verify that the closest PUDO address is automatically selected and that you can change it if needed. Complete the order to ensure the service is functioning as expected.

6

Verify Order in OMS

Check the order in your Order Management System (OMS) to ensure it is marked as a PUDO order.

After a few minutes, the order should appear in your OMS. Confirm that it is correctly marked as a PUDO order, which indicates that the integration is working properly. This step is important for tracking and managing orders that utilize the PUDO service.

7

Create and Download Shipping Label

Create a shipping label for the PUDO order and download it for processing.

In the label creation view of your OMS, you will see the PUDO location automatically selected. Proceed to create the shipment and download the shipping label. Ensure that the address details are correct to avoid delivery issues. This label will be used for dispatching the order to the PUDO location.
