To configure the basic settings of Ware2Go for your store, follow these steps to ensure your account, warehouse, and fulfillment preferences are set up correctly:
1. **Create and Access Your Account**
Sign up for a Ware2Go account if you haven’t already. Once registered, log in to your dashboard.
2. **Store Profile Setup**
Navigate to the “Store Settings” or “Account Settings” section. Here, enter your store’s name, business address, contact information, and tax identification details. This information is used for shipping labels, invoices, and compliance.
3. **Connect Your Sales Channels**
Integrate your eCommerce platforms (such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or eBay) with Ware2Go. Go to the “Integrations” tab, select your sales channel, and follow the prompts to authorize the connection. This allows Ware2Go to automatically import orders and sync inventory.
4. **Warehouse Preferences**
In the “Warehouses” or “Fulfillment Centers” section, select preferred warehouse locations based on your customer base and shipping needs. You can choose one or multiple warehouses to optimize delivery speed and cost. Assign inventory to each warehouse as needed.
5. **Shipping Settings**
Set up your shipping preferences under the “Shipping” or “Fulfillment” tab. Choose your preferred carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), shipping methods (standard, expedited, overnight), and define shipping rules such as free shipping thresholds or flat rates. You can also set up custom packaging options and handling instructions.
6. **Inventory Management**
Upload your product catalog in the “Inventory” section. Add SKUs, product descriptions, dimensions, weights, and barcodes. Set minimum and maximum stock levels to receive low-stock alerts. Enable automatic inventory syncing with your connected sales channels.
7. **Order Processing Rules**
Configure how orders are processed in the “Order Management” area. Set rules for order batching, cut-off times for same-day shipping, and handling of backorders or pre-orders. You can also enable order notifications and tracking updates for your customers.
8. **Notifications and User Permissions**
Set up email or SMS notifications for key events such as new orders, low inventory, or shipment tracking. In the “Users” section, add team members and assign roles or permissions based on their responsibilities.
9. **Review and Save Settings**
Review all configured settings for accuracy. Save your changes to ensure they are applied.
