Simplify Warehousing with Warehance
This guide provides a structured process for businesses to onboard with Warehance, set up inventory, and efficiently fulfill orders. It's designed for both new e-commerce stores and established operations looking to scale.
Create Your Warehance Account
During account creation, you'll need to input basic business details and outline your operational needs, such as storage and shipping requirements. Choose a pricing plan that fits your business model or request a custom quote if needed. Once completed, you'll gain access to the Warehance dashboard, where you can manage all aspects of your warehousing and fulfillment operations.
Complete Warehouse Onboarding
Warehouse onboarding ensures that your products and processes are compatible with Warehance's systems. Start by setting up integrations with your existing platforms like Shopify or Amazon to sync orders and inventory automatically. Next, configure your product catalog by uploading details such as SKUs, dimensions, and packaging requirements. Finally, define your shipping preferences by selecting carriers and setting delivery speeds to ensure efficient order routing.
Integration Setup
Warehance supports integration with major platforms, allowing automatic syncing of orders, inventory levels, and tracking information. Ensure your systems like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon are properly linked to avoid manual data entry and reduce errors.
Product Configuration
Accurate product data is essential for smooth operations. Include details such as SKUs, dimensions, weight, and any special handling instructions. This information helps Warehance optimize storage and manage your inventory effectively.
Define Shipping Preferences
Choose your preferred carriers and set delivery speeds like standard or express. Configure shipping rules and zones to ensure that orders are routed efficiently once fulfillment begins. This setup is crucial for meeting customer expectations and managing shipping costs.
Inventory Inbound Process
Before you can fulfill orders, your inventory must be sent to and processed by the Warehance warehouse. Notify Warehance of incoming shipments through the dashboard, specifying quantities and product types. Ensure all items are properly labeled and packaged according to Warehance guidelines to avoid delays or issues upon arrival.
Create an Inbound Shipment
Using the Warehance dashboard, specify the quantities and types of products you are sending. Schedule a delivery time to ensure the warehouse is prepared to receive your inventory. This step is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely processing.
Prepare Your Goods for Shipment
Label all items with barcodes or SKUs and package them securely to prevent damage during transport. Adhere to Warehance's receiving guidelines to ensure a smooth check-in process when your inventory arrives at the warehouse.
Receiving and Put-Away Process
Upon arrival, Warehance checks items for accuracy and condition before logging them into the system. Inventory is then stored in optimized locations within the warehouse. You will be notified once your stock is available for order fulfillment.
Set Up Order Fulfillment
With your inventory in place, configure order processing to ensure efficient fulfillment. Orders from connected sales channels are automatically imported into Warehance. Set up picking and packing rules, including packaging types and any special instructions. Once configured, your fulfillment operations can go live, with orders picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently.
Order Sync
Ensure that your sales channels are properly connected to Warehance so that orders are imported without manual intervention. This automation reduces errors and speeds up the fulfillment process.
Configure Picking and Packing Rules
Decide on packaging types and any branding options available. Include special instructions for fragile items or additional inserts. This configuration helps maintain consistency and quality in your order fulfillment process.
Go Live with Fulfillment
Once everything is configured, Warehance will start fulfilling orders automatically. Orders are picked and packed according to your specifications and dispatched via your selected carriers. Tracking information is sent back to your system and customers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
